Summary

Almost all educational games have replay ability as a key feature.

Because of the presence of a complementing storyline along with the curriculum aligned games, children are often drawn to go back in the story and re-play a game that they have already tried before.

Thus, the curriculum becomes more impressive and colorful when presented through games.

Growing up in this digital age, kids are more motivated by rewards in games like stars, keys and other inventories than a teacher marking them ten out of ten.

Games nowadays are designed and developed in ways that allow you to know how much time your children are taking while doing each activity, whether your child is taking less time with each attempt etc.

Unlike a school worksheet filled with red inks where you might wonder about how the teacher interpreted your student's response, games give objective feedback.

Thus, in terms of assessment, games do have a cutting edge over other traditional mediums.
