Summary
Last semester, I used a simulation for the first time in my decade-long teaching career, and the experience was transformative. Initially hesitant, I found that simulations could enhance both teaching and learning by offering practical, modern experiences that better prepare students for their careers. I integrated a simulation into my Strategic Digital Marketing course, carefully choosing one that aligned with our syllabus and fit well into our schedule. Despite initial fears about technical issues, the simulation's success led to the highest post-class survey scores of my career and greatly improved student confidence and skills. This experience reinforced the value of embracing innovative teaching methods.
