Abstract
“Studies have shown that class engagement among students has reduced during online classes. This study investigates classroom engagement, classroom dynamics, motivation, learning experience and the implementation of online game based-learnings in the new norm, specifically Kahoot! among financial students at UiTM PuncakAlam, Selangor. Data were obtained through online survey involving students who took the Personal Financial Planning subject. Data were analysed using the grounded theory. This study found that Kahoot! significantly influence all the variables revolving around classroom engagement. The application of Kahoot! improves students' classroom dynamics, engagement, motivation, and experience. This study also found that online game-based learning is necessary for the new norm to enhance students' interest and improve their focus for better academic achievements.”
