Mastering storytelling is essential in various media, and recent advancements in AI, particularly large language models (LLMs), have sparked interest in their ability to generate engaging narratives. This research introduces GENEVA, a tool that utilizes GPT-4 for creating and visualizing branching narratives in graph format. GENEVA generates stories based on user-defined parameters and enables interactive exploration of narrative paths. A case study adapting classic tales like Frankenstein to modern contexts revealed GENEVA's potential for innovation, though it highlighted the need for improved variety and grounding. Ultimately, GENEVA serves as a prototype for enhancing narrative design in video games through collaborative input from designers.
